Will a louvered roof system handle wind and snow loads?
The snow and wind loads will vary depending on the system and installation type. If the system is a free standing 12’ x 12’ the snow load is 35 lbs per square foot and 110 MPH wind rating.
Is the louvered roof noisy to operate?
The decibel levels on aluminum louvered roofs are approximately 50 decibels (dB), which is similar to a refrigerator, and slightly less noisy than a relaxed conversation, but more noisy than a library.

In order to place your order, we will need to know certain aspects of your project such as placement in a home or business, and is it a free-standing structure or attached, etc.

What size can these systems be?
Both Sundance louvered roof systems and MagnaTrack motorized screens are customizable to any size area, with no size constraints whatsoever. They are suitable for large commercial projects as well as residential spaces.
Is the Sundance louvered roof system American-made?
Yes, all the powdered coated aluminum components are American-made.
What is the Sundance louvered roof warranty?
Sundance louvered roof systems come with a limited lifetime warranty. The opening system, bearings, brackets, gutter, pivot bar and other metal components are warranted for ten years from the date of completed installation. The motor and electric controls are warranted for five years from the date of completed installation, subject to the wire connections being protected and the electric controls being installed in a waterproof box, in accordance with the relevant codes.
